How long will you live? This is a calculator that estimates your life expectancy. It was developed by Northwestern Mutual Life. It's interesting that there are only 13 questions.
Yet, they can predict how long you're likely to live.

	>> Wife phones husband at work to say windows have frozen, what should she do. Husband replies" spray them with de-icer or pour warm water on them".
>>
GREETINGS . . .Yesterday while changing an alternator on the '93 Caddy,
a spark ignited apparent fuel in the throttle body that went up as if a torch.
Car destroyed, junk yard awaits. Removing rims / new Cooper tires and
substituting some other older wheels from '86, Touched something during
blaze resulting in blisters on three fingers. Hammond FD put out the fire.
It became an inferno in seconds, car destroyed in minutes. Will get the '86
back in business ASAP. Removed contents, and trunk area was untouched
thus no damage to piano tuning equipment, etc.. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?
Stanley carelessly, stupidly, unknowingly, and with forgetting, broke the
cardinal rule of underhood (and elsewhere) repairs: DISCONNECT THE
BATTERY BEFORE ENGAGING WORK ! Had I followed procedure, this
would not have happened. I always disconnect the battery, but this is the one
time I neglected to do so. The car milage had gone over the 190,000 mark
during a recent trip to Pittsburgh via Ann Arbor, and still maintained 25+MPG
on the highway. I've really enjoyed the Caddy, but now for the next phase of
Stanley motordom. Later . . .San Zimmerman
RE: Lagomarcino's

I worked there for a big part of my time at MHS. I delivered fruit baskets to MPH in "uncle" Joe's 1950 Oldsmobile.

I remember Cleste the Swiss woman chocolate dipper. She made $5 an hour when we boys made 55 cents an hour. We had to have everything made and ready in the basement for when she came to minimize her time.

We boys also took food upstairs to their blind mother, emptied her trash and other small chores for her. I have never, ever forgotten her touch on my face, when she asked if she could "see" what I looked like. The delicate feel of her fingers reading my face was unlike anything I have experienced - before or since! She said in her thick Italian accent; "You a handsome boy!"

ANNCR: We join the closing moments of today's episode of:

Stanley Faces Life as we hear Stanley comment: "Is there anthing

more frustrating than a cypher tooting away in the middle of the

hymn?" "We're here today to share the worship experience within

this beautful edifice, yet the gremlins d'organ reward us with this

unwanted, interfering noise." "What are we to do?"

ANNCR: Tune in tomorrow for our next chapter in the continuing

saga of Stanley Faces Life, when we wonder: What about the postlude?

Thanks for listening.

ANNCR: You are listening to W B T L, Whiting, the radio voice of

of his attempts at subscribing to The Diapason E-Newsletter. It seems

the on-line subscription form doesn't respond properly, therefore Stan's

attempts seem futile. Diapason personnel have assured Stan the problem

will be resolved.

MEANWHILE, Whiting garbage collection crews have been delayed due to

The Whiting Chronicle

Hello '58rs: The following is some fun

writing in a print or broadcast media format.

Something to do in spare time, nothing on TV

moments (which are often). Note the dateline

for seasonal offerings. Remember, this is all

ficticious stuff. . .Ready, Set, Go . . .Stan Zimmerman

            The Whiting Chronicle

                 December 30, 2008

*********************************************

Whiting Resident Communicates

Stan Zimmerman, resident at the Hoosier

Theater apartments, has been spendng time

reaching out to friends of many years and

family members. This is due to his recent

aquisition of a phone line and internet ser-

vice provider, and being sequestered in

Whiting during severe weather changes.

Zimmerman has learned about relatives

who've raised families, worked for a circus,

written books on alcoholism topics, money

management subjects, photography, and

fish and environmental topics.

Zimmerman, no stranger to spotlights,

is amazed by this array of vocations within

the structure of one family tree, and finds

his life of musical ventures and personality

status rather miniscule compared to the

attendant publicity and hoopla associated

with other family members. Genes perhaps ?

Known for his musical, journalistic, and

broadcast copywriting / script writing skills,

Zimmerman may communicate in any of the

aforementioned formats. In addition, he will

sometimes write in two characters, himself and

"voice" who is the alter-personality of the subject

being discussed. Split personality ? Just goofy !

****************************************************

      Garbage Trucks Battle Elements

Severe snow and ice have rendered collection ...
